Angela moved to Anchorage in 2013 from California. She has worked in the dental industry for 16 years. She is passionate about the science of dentistry and as office manager, loves the small role she is able to play in helping patients attain beautiful and healthy smiles. She is happily married to Trent, and together they have four beautiful children. She loves traveling to warm places and enjoys spending time watching her kids play sports they enjoy. She looks forward to the adventure of exploring this great state of Alaska.
Megan is enjoying her new position as our insurance billing coordinator after three years as a dental assistant. She has been in the dental field for nearly fifteen years and her favorite thing about Alaska Dental Care is working with her team, and taking care of our great patients. She is happily married and has three beautiful children. In her free time she loves to camp, fish and spend time with her family.
Michelle completed dental assisting school in 2007 and has been with Alaska Dental Care for 4 years. She is a life-long Alaskan and loves spending time with husband, Westley, and their dogs Lola and Duke while enjoying the great outdoors by hiking or sledding.
Bernie is an assistant.
Jamie was born and raised in Anchorage. She joined the Alaska Army National Guard in 2005 where she gained her dental assisting experience. She has been working as a dental assistant since 2006 and joined Alaska Dental Care in 2013. She is married to Aurburn and they have 2 young children, Aurburn JR. and Alivia. Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and staying active with zumba, camping, fishing, and just enjoying the outdoors with her family.
Hi, I’m Minna. I joined Anchorage Dental Care in 2010. I was born and raised here in Anchorage. I earned a BS degree in exercise science from BYU and a degree in dental hygiene from UAA. I love cleaning teeth. I love adventure – from camping and hiking around Alaska, to living abroad in Russia and Jerusalem. I just started a new adventure called marriage, with my loving husband, Dallas. I can’t wait to hear about all my patients adventures in life.
Sarah graduated from Phoenix College with high honors in dental hygiene. She values a proactive approach to preventative oral health and believes that a healthy body begins with a healthy smile. As a registered dental hygienist, Sarah is committed to providing quality, customized and gentle care. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to meet new people and help create beautiful smiles. Sarah married her high school sweetheart, Robin. Together, they adore their vocal and goofy husky mix named Ginger. In her free time, Sarah enjoys our great state by hiking, camping and kayaking with family and friends.
Sookie is an honor graduate of the UAA Dental Hygiene program. She has worked in dentistry since 1992. She enjoys traveling, collecting movies and comic books. She has a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children.
Born and raised in Homer, Marfa began her career as a dental assistant. After 4 years, she decided to expand her knowledge by attending UAA and earning her Hygiene degree. Now, with over 7 years of experience she continues to love educating patients and making them feel comfortable. When Marfa isn’t attending to your hygiene needs, you will find her enjoying family time with her 11 siblings, hiking the Alaska wilderness, curled up on the couch watching movies or practicing her crafty skills while sewing herself a new dress.
Lori graduated from the UAA hygiene program in 1997. She loves being a hygienist and strives to educate and deliver thorough gentle care. She is part of a wonderful blended family: her two children Jonathan (15), Cassandra (19), her husband Chris, stepdaughter Casie (28), stepson Christopher (23), and a two year old grandson, Andrew. Her hobbies include walking her dog. Cross country skiing and spending time with her family.
Angela moved to Anchorage in 2012 from Charleston, South Carolina. She has 9 years of clinical experience as a hygienist and has been with Alaska Dental Care since 2013. Angela has been married for 17 years to Todd and is excited to celebrate his retirement from the Air Force in 2016. She has two beautiful teenage daughters, Celina and Olivia who share her love of dance, music, the beach and adventure.
